APPLICATION OF PHOSPHORESCENT PIGMENTS TO
PLASTICS
.......Phosphorescent
pigment can be mixed with resins such as PE, PP, ABS, PVC, etc, and molded into
variety of luminous plastic granules. Varieties of plastic products could be
extruded, injected and blown molding. Mixed with photoluminescent pigment,
resins and additives can be molded into luminous films and imitation leathers.
The expenditure of photoluminescent pigment ranges around 20-50 percent(wt).
The lifetime of the plastic would not be shortened due to adding the pigment.
When photoluminescent pigment is used, both additive with Pb and mould made of
Cu can't be used, or they'll damage the pigment.
