* Freight Class: The National Motor Freight Classification is the number or category that carriers use to identify contents being shipped and their corresponding rate. The Bill of Lading must accurately describe the contents of the shipment and what materials the contents are composed of by displaying the NMFC number. An incorrect class may slow delivery or cause an increase in the rate of your shipment. If you do not know the class and NMFC number of the items to be shipped, please call the NMFTA at 703-838-1810.

*
Collect On Delivery: A service provided to collect payment (US Dollars) from the receiver at the time of delivery. How it works: When you select COD, you will indicate whether you want to collect for freight only, cost of goods only, or both. The driver will collect a check from the receiver and mail it to the remittance address, and 2AMP Air Freight, LLC. will bill you directly. Surcharge: The fee for this service in included in your quote.
**
Blind Shipments: Used when it is desired to keep the originating location and receiving destination unaware of each other. how it works: Two Bills of Lading (BOL) are created. The Shipper's copy of the BOL shows the carrier's terminal as the receiver. The Receiver's copy shows the carrier's terminal as the shipper. The carrier will need a copy of both BOLs. Surcharge: An additional fee may apply.
